Since 2021, we have been working in the NC Triangle area
to remove invasive plants and replace them with beneficial
natives.
What Are Invasive Plants?
Invasive plants are plant species that spread aggressively when introduced into a foreign environment. Invasive species can outcompete native plants, negatively impacting plant diversity, wildlife habitat, water quality, soil erosion and more (source: usda.gov). Through a combination of removing invasive species and adding natives, our mission is to restore our ecosystem to a natural, healthy state.Invasive Plant Removal

to make room for native plants to be reestablished! We use as much manual removal as possible
and use herbicides as little as possible. Unfortunately, invasive species are sometimes very
hard to eradicate and require a small amount of herbicide use.
